About

As a child I emigrated to the U.S. from Germany, later I spent years traveling the world and living in Europe and the Middle East. The rugged vastness of the ocean drew me to Yachats. The community of artists here, the small town magic, and good food has made me want to make Yachats my home.

I make all of my one of a kind art pieces here in Yachats. Inspired by winter storms, clear sunny days, and my favorite spots to watch the waves crash: Yachats Ocean Road, Cooks Chasm, Spouting Horn, Tillicum. 

When I’m not making art, I love going for long beach walks looking for rocks and discovering new favorite spots with my side kick, Beau the mini Aussie. In the winter we watch storms roll in and shake the house while sipping tea and getting inspired.

My mediums are anything that happens to be around me. From nature art to epoxy resin, pottery, watercolor, graphic design or acrylics.

Commissioned Work: 

My favorite thing about creating is making people feel loved and cared for with art that tells a story. I love making customized commissioned works of art that capture a moment, symbolize hope, or honor a memory.
